ABOUT US
Sustainable Water Management for Cuenca under Climate Change Scenarios (SWACH) is a project primarily funded by VLIR-UOS (Flemish Interuniversity Council – University Development Cooperation). It aims, through the collaboration of various institutions such as the Municipality of Cuenca, ETAPA-EP, the University of Cuenca, and the University of Azuay, to assess water availability for the city of Cuenca over the next 30 years. The project also seeks to understand citizens' water consumption habits and population projections in order to inform strategies that ensure a safe and reliable supply of drinking water for the city.
